Common interview questions and how to answer them
FAQ
Is my voice recorded or stored?
No. While you answer, your voice is streamed to our speech recognition provider (Soniox, with Microsoft Azure Speech as a backup) to turn it into text. Only that text reaches our servers; we never receive or store audio recordings.
Is JobProbe available yet?
Not yet, it's in final testing for Android. Join the waitlist and we'll email you as soon as it's on Google Play.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Every new account gets 3 full interviews free, one time, including interviews built from a real job posting, with the full report. After that, Free includes 3 short HR practice sessions a week with a score and one tip. Premium gives you unlimited full interviews with a breakdown of how you cover each job requirement.
What if I don't know the answer?
Just say so. The interviewer can explain the topic and let you try again (up to 3 times per interview). Answers given after a hint are marked in the report.
Which languages are supported?
The app and interviews are available in 18 languages, including English, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Polish. You can also answer in Russian, but questions and feedback are never in Russian.
How can I sign in?
With email, Google, Facebook, or Apple. You can also try two short HR interviews as a guest without an account (one guest session per device); after that, sign up for free to keep practicing.
Do you guarantee I'll get the job?
No. JobProbe is a practice tool to help you rehearse and get feedback. It can't guarantee any interview or job outcome.
